LR800 Series Enclosed Online Soft Starter Cabinet
What makes the LR800 different is that it's an online soft starter cabinet—the power electronics stay in the circuit during operation rather than transferring to a bypass contactor after ramp-up. In practical terms, that means smoother acceleration and deceleration, steadier control under changing loads, and fewer issues associated with frequent contactor switching. It also allows the unit to keep watching the motor and supply conditions continuously, so protection isn't "out of the picture" once the motor is running.
The cabinet is supplied as a ready-to-install, floor-standing soft starter panel. A rugged powder-coated metal enclosure houses the starter, controls, cooling fans, and an operator interface on the door. The LCD display provides live operating information—such as current, voltage, power factor, and fault indications—along with simple front-access START/STOP control for day-to-day operation. Venting and forced cooling help keep internal temperatures stable during heavy-duty use.
Power range & cabinet sizes (typical)
- 18.5–75 kW: approx. 780 × 440 × 315 mm
- 90–115 kW: approx. 1000 × 450 × 370 mm
- 132–280 kW: approx. 1160 × 550 × 410 mm
- 320–400 kW: approx. 1300 × 630 × 430 mm
- 450–600 kW: approx. 1650 × 730 × 510 mm
Installation is kept practical with pre-drilled mounting points and workable space for incoming/outgoing cables.
Protection and control functions are built in for real plant conditions, including adjustable ramp times, current limiting, phase loss detection, over/undervoltage protection, overload protection, and thermal monitoring. Because the LR800 remains online, it can react early and stop the motor in a controlled way—helping prevent small electrical issues from turning into expensive mechanical failures.
For retrofits in existing MCC rooms or new-build motor control projects, the LR800 is a solid choice when you need an enclosed soft starter cabinet that's easy to wire, easy to monitor, and designed to reduce wear, downtime, and stressful starts.
