The General Low Voltage Soft Start Cabinet for Mining is specifically designed for demanding underground industrial environments, including coal mines free of gas and coal dust explosion hazards, as well as non-coal mining operations. This product provides controlled motor starting and stopping, minimizing mechanical stress and enhancing operational reliability in challenging conditions.

c) Rated frequency: 50Hz.
d) The maximum current overload multiple of soft starter cabinet: adjustable by 4 times or below.
e) Operation frequency: 10 times/h.
f) Cooling method: air convection cooling.
Environmental conditions
a) Ambient air temperature: -20℃ 40℃;
c) Altitude: no more than 2000m;
d) The relative humidity of the surrounding air shall not exceed 95% (at 25℃);
e) In places without significant shaking and impact vibration;
f) In places without risk of gas or coal dust explosion;
g) In an environment without insulating and corroding gases and vapors;
h) Allow in places with a small amount of vertical dripping;
It should be installed horizontally (the inclination does not exceed 15°).
Electrical clearance and creepage distance
The electrical gap and creepage distance between exposed charged conductors of different polarities in the starter cabinet and between them and the casing should not be less than the provisions in Table 1.

Insulation resistor

Data after humidity and heat test should be used as the basis for judging whether it is qualified or not. Data at room temperature can be used as factory Inspection data shall not be used as the basis for passing judgment during type test. |
Leakage lock protection
The soft starter cabinet should have leakage lock protection performance. When the insulation resistance of the main circuit to the ground drops to the operating value specified in Table 15, the leakage lock of the main circuit should be realized. When the insulation resistance of the main circuit to the ground rises to 1.5 times the operation value, the leakage lock of the main circuit should be lifted.
